Medical Assistant-Plumas Street Primary Care
The Medical Assistant will function as support for licensed medical provider and responds to needs of the patients within the scope of their practice.
Assists in scheduling patients and documentation of patients' visits in an Electronic Medical Records system.
Formal training in medical assisting, terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
Ability to elicit brief medical history, including current medications and allergies.
Well-developed command of English language, both verbal and written.
Typing 45 WPM, Computer skills:
MS Word, Computer Scheduling Program, MS Outlook, Internet Skills.
Six months medical experience preferred.
Front office training a plus.
Basis CPR, Certified Medical Assistant, Basic Patient Care Principles.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
