- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices - Assist in the cooking and presentation of food items according to recipes and quality standards - Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures - Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient meal service - Maintain a clean and organized work area - Adhere to dietary restrictions and special requests from customers - Assist with inventory management and stock rotation Skills:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the food industry is preferred - Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology - Familiarity with kitchen equipment, including knives, grills, ovens, etc.
