00 an hour Duties - Provide direct support and care to individuals in need, including those with dementia, children, or individuals requiring home care - Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation - Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals - Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of care provided and any changes in condition - Assist with transportation to appointments or outings as needed - Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals under your care - Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure privacy and confidentiality of individuals' health information Requirements - Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred - Knowledge of assisted living principles and practices - Familiarity with medication administration and proper dosage procedures - Ability to provide physical assistance including heavy lifting, if necessary - Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with individuals of all ages and backgrounds - Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to help others - Ability to work independently and follow established care plans - Knowledge of social work principles and resources is a plus Please note that this job may require you to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
