Summary:
Create a safe and inclusive environment for students to participate in sports activities.
Educate students on the rules, techniques, and strategies of various sports.
Provide guidance and support to participants to help them improve their skills and reach their full potential.
Knowledge and Skills:
Leadership:
Strong leadership skills to guide, inspire, and mentor young athletes.
Effective Communication:
Clear and age-appropriate communication to convey instructions, and feedback and demonstrate skills to students of different ages and skill levels.
Adaptability:
Flexibility to adapt/modify coaching methods based on the age, skill level, and individual needs of the children.
Positive Reinforcement:
Skill in using positive reinforcement to encourage good behavior, effort, and skill development.
Patience:
Ability to remain calm and patient, understanding that children may progress at Safety Awareness:
Commitment to creating a safe environment.
Ethical Conduct:
Upholding ethical standards and promoting fair play and sportsmanship.
