ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES The following duties are normal for this position.

Other related duties may be required and assigned.
Purchases and maintains in good working order all cooking, serving and clean-up equipment.
Plans menus utilizing knowledge of nutrition and employee (customer) preferences.
Sends out weekly menu to employees.
Estimates food quantities to be cooked for employees and anticipated guests.
Requisitions food supplies from suppliers.
Ensures all supplies meet quality/cost specifications.
Ensures adherence to sanitary standards in receiving, storage, preparation, serving and clean-up activities.
Prepares and maintains accurate records and reports.
Maintains cost effective manpower utilization.
Implements pricing policy to maximize profits while staying competitive with outside businesses.
Responsible for department budget.
Keeps records on cafeteria operations and makes reports as requested.
Supervises the Food Service staff by preparing work schedules, assigning and directing work, training, enforcing work standards, evaluation work performance and recommending disciplinary action.
Ensures the standards of sanitation and safety are followed.
Promotes safe work habits and procedures among assigned personnel.
Monitors and aids in the cleaning of all kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
Responsible for tracking inventory.
Maintains positive employee/supervisor relationships.
Ensures the standards of following proper dress code and all company policies.
May substitute for absent staff members as needed.
Promptly informs superior of known or anticipated problems.
Ensures clear and timely communication within department to maximize productivity.
Communicates effectively with employees/customers to promote customer satisfaction.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge/Skills:
Food Safety Certificate.
Ability to:
Work the shift assigned.
Work long hours, as needed Education and
Experience:
Prefer High School Diploma or (G.
E.
D.
) Equivalent.

Years in Food Service; Previous supervisory experience.
Physical/Safety Requirements:
Tolerate extended periods of sitting at desk.
Ambient noise is louder than a traditional office setting.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
