Operates automatic packers, case erectors, and other production equipment.
Responsible for set-up, operation, and shut-down of production equipment.
Inspects and loads fibre in packaging equipment to ensure that proper packaging supplies are used.
Keeps inventory of all packaging supplies used during production run.
Performs quality assurance checks and records results as required.
Keeps work area clean and orderly using common cleaning equipment and HPLV system.
Notifies supervisor or leader of any problems requiring production or maintenance assistance.
Performs minor maintenance and/or mechanical adjustments as required.
Must be able to work overtime if required.
Responsible for ensuring safe working conditions and safe work practices in assigned area.
Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
Performs other duties relating to the overall effort as directed.
